My appologies to all who visit our site on a daily basis, we have been really busy working behind the scenes on some upgrades for 2012. We will be testing these upgrades over the next couple of weeks and should have everything functional by January 2, 2012.
It is our goal to keep our site current and fresh and we thank you for your loyalty and patiences. Some of the new features will be;
- New more frequent uploads to Hot Shots – rather than mannual uploads that take a great deal of time to format, the NEW Hot Shots will allow us to upload directly from the field.
- Photo submission – you asked for it and we heard you. Members will now be able to submit photos of their incidents, fundraisers, public events, and other activities of their department directly to the website. The actual upload will not be immediate as all photos will need to be approved in an effort to assure only appropriate content displayed on the site. However, you will not be required to email the jpegs and the approval process will take place several times per day. We expect this to be a very popular feature and encourage all of you to show and tell us what you are doing. A free site membership is required to post pictures.
- Photo Gallery – we are adding multiple photo gallerys – you posted pictues will be located in these galleries, click on the photo tab to see the latest uploads.
- News feed, we are working on an updated news feed. This feed will scroll on the side bar and be updated automatically so come back often to see what is going on around you locally and nationally.
